When we decided to get our Bulldog's we didn't even consider showing... Until one day I was in the pet shop buying some food and I noticed an entry form on the counter for a Local All Breed Dog Show, I took a form and we decided to go along. We entered Lyla and Lottie and we went in the ring there were was every kind of breed you can imagine! To our suprize Lyla got Third! We were delighted and that's when the showing bug started. The next show we entered was The Bulldog Club Of Scotland under Alison Barnsby - Beaudiddley, Lottie was entered in Puppy Bitch and was placed Third and Lyla was entered in Junior Bitch and Placed Reserve, needless to say we were delighted! We have entered our dogs in Open and Championship shows since May 2006 and have been overwhelmed with the results and we hope to continue in the future...
Barry and I are Commitee Members of Blackpool & Fylde Bulldog Club, The Bulldog Club Of Scotland and Members and Supporters of numerous other Bulldog Clubs. In August 2007 we attended a seminar by The Kennel Club on Requirements of a Dog Show Judge and to our delight we both passed with flying colours!
